After the Storm Winter Delta Fishing

Hip, hip, hooray!! The rains really showed up and are cleansing the Delta.  It has changed the conditions completely.  We have moved the Fish ‘n’ Fool IV to Suisun City Marina for the next month.  The sturgeon fishing has been good, through some stormy weather.  The sturgeon are in Suisun and Montezuma Slough and the water doesn’t move as fast in the sloughs. There are quite a few big diamondsides in the slough along with others.  We will be targeting sturgeon through this next month and it should be good.

The sturgeon action has been good using eel, ghost shrimp and salmon roe.  Acquiring the bait can be a challenge, sometimes with the storms, but the fish are hungry. There is a lot of water movement and the fish are traveling also.

The weather is looking beautiful for the next few days.  If you want to get out for a good sturgeon trip give me a call at 916-777-6498 or call me on my cell 916-870-4225,  We have a lot of room right now and this is the time for the good sturgeon bite.
